Alpine Adventure - Lakes, mountains, rivers, friends and fun! This 15-day course combines warm summer days and the very best of Jackson Hole for a unique western outdoor adventure. Session: July 15 to 29, 2007, Tuition: $2850.

Sunny days and blue skies in Jackson Hole provide the perfect setting as you meet new friends and prepare for your exciting expedition. Just 10 minutes from the airport, we gather at Trails base camp in Grand Teton National Park to get geared up for fun. Paddling the wonderful wilderness lakes of Yellowstone, you will develop camping skills and experience the amazing wildlife of America's first National Park. You will spend your days exploring the shoreline by boat as you watch moose and elk graze in the sun. At night, we gather around the campfire to revel in the day's adventure. The mountains become our home as we head out on a hike. Friendships form and teamwork strengthens as we travel through beautiful alpine environments. While hiking, we learn the fundamentals of wilderness camping and travel. We'll bag a peak, visit an alpine lake and may even find a snow patch for a snowball fight and a little sledding in mid-summer! Feeling strong from our hike, rock climbing becomes our next adventure. Guided by our outstanding instructors, you will learn the fundamentals of outdoor rock climbing in a safe and fun environment. You will be encouraged to climb at your own pace. No previous experience is necessary. What better way to end our great adventure than a white water rafting trip? We'll set out on the world famous Snake River for some great waves and fun in the sun. Then, it's off to visit the town of Jackson. At our final campfire we celebrate with friends an unbelievable summer of exploration and discovery.

Runners Camp - For the love of running, this camp goes fast. Kids from many schools make up a fun club-like cross country team. Session: July 15 to 29, 2007, Tuition: $1850.

The Ozark program focuses on hills and runs typical of the midwest. Jackson Hole camp is known as the HARC - High Altitude Runner’s Camp. Both are staffed by high school cross country coaches. The group runs in a non-competitive environment focusing on the joy of the sport, skills, and having fun. Runners become better, faster, and smarter athletes through our whole runner and enjoyment approach. Previous participants say they have seen personal best, better teamwork, and have more fun running due to attending camp. Other activities include, where appropriate: canoeing or rafting, swimming, visiting, caving, mountain biking, and more. We provide an educational and inspirational experience for all skill levels and abilities, and provide the kind of focused, intensive training that is essential for improvement. Campers leave camp with increased running knowledge, new friends and a greater love for the sport.

LETTER FROM COACH - I can't tell you how much my team got out of the camp. Training at altitude twice a day in that picturesque setting was amazing. The kids not only learned how to work hard, but they also learned to work as a team from you and your crew. There is no doubt in my mind that the reason this past XC season was the most successful in the 65 years of Las Lomas High School was because of Trails. Both the boys and girls teams qualified for the California State Championships, which had never been done before (in fact, no single team had ever qualified, and we qualified both this year!). The kids can't wait for next year's camp! They are already talking about it, and it's only December!
    Cheers,
Andrew Schreiber, Japanese Teacher/Head Cross Country Coach- Las Lomas High School

Rock Climbing -  Buckle up your harness and get ready to climb. This course offers 8 days of amazing climbing variety and spice, with instruction and fun by world class climbing guides. Session: July 25 to 31, 2007, Tuition: $1400.
Beginning in Cascade Canyon, we practice the fundamentals to refresh everyone in proper rope management, knots, belaying, safety procedures, and movement on rock. Advancing to the Baxter's Pinacle, we spend the next day climbing on large granite up to 5.11. It is always a beautiful day with the Tetons soaring overhead and fun climbing. We reach new levels of climbing ability as we hone our techniques. Do you want to explore new areas, climb exciting routes and develop technique and style on the rock? Then check out this great program. Just remember, the best climber in the world is the one having the most fun!

Kayaking Camp - We provide all the gear and all the fun for a great white water kayak trip in Jackson Hole.

    Session: July 31 to Aug 6, 2007. Tuition: $1400.

We provide professional instruction beginning with the fundamentals. There's plenty of time to practice paddling, wet-exits, kayak rolls and braces, eddy in and out of rapids, and surfing waves. Progressing from a swimming pool equipped with a current simulator to the Hoback and Snake Rivers we build our skills and confidence. Let's get wet!
