KinderCare® Summer Camp makes the most fun time of the year even better!

We have 12 unique and fun camps for preschool, prekindergarten and school-age kids running from May through August. With so much to choose from, a summer spent at KinderCare® is sure to be an enriching, fun, and memorable one for your child!

Take a look at what we have to offer this summer:

    Sport Smarts

During Sports Smarts, the children will learn about fun sports played around the world! Health, nutrition, stretching, and being a good sport are just some of the sporty topics explored. The links between sports, math, and the laws of physics will be touched on in easy-to-understand ways.

    Scienterrific

Science helps explain many of the mysteries children experience in their daily lives. In this camp, children will explore a variety of topics in physics, chemistry, life science, earth science, ecology, and engineering through fun and educational, hands-on activities. While enjoying these fun activities, children will begin to unlock some of the science secrets of their everyday world.

    Wilderness 101

The outdoors provides children with great opportunities to experience new and exciting things. While school-age kids learn the basics involved in surviving in the wilderness and on deserted islands, the pre-school and pre-kindergarteners will learn to listen to the sounds of the wilderness, identify animal tracks, and learn the basics of camping and hiking.

    Dig Ancient Egypt

Children will travel back in time to ancient Egypt to learn more about this amazing civilization from the past. Their journeys will have them investigating pyramids and learning about mummies, using the hieroglyphic alphabet, and playing Egyptian games. To conclude their explorations, children will adorn themselves in ancient Egyptian wear and use their fingers to sample some of the foods that would have been familiar to Egyptian children long ago.

    Splish, Splash!

Water is everywhere — two thirds of the Earth’s surface is covered by water and the human body is 75 percent water! Children will discover the versatility of water as they create with water, cook with water and, most importantly, play with water! There will be many opportunities to participate in water-related activities and games as well as to explore water through various “watery” art projects.

    Gross and Gooey Science

To children, the science of gross and gooey things is fascinating and fun! Throughout the week, kids will learn all about the science of gross and will create gross art and gooey treats! The activities in this camp will have the kids yucking it up, and enjoying every minute of it!

    Spectacular Sports

Learning a new sport can be challenging and fun. Sports also offer invaluable life lessons such as working hard to accomplish goals and learning from defeat. They’ll be a chance to practice the skills needed to play different sports through fun, age-appropriate activities. Children will also learn the importance of being good sports and cheering on their friends!

    Animal Antics

Children will become animal experts by learning to build models of and learning about different animals that live nearby and far away. Along the way, children will observe animals around the center, learn about animal camouflage, exercise like animals, and make human-friendly animal snacks!

    Feats of Science

School-age children will learn how simple machines make difficult tasks easier. The children will build milk-carton vehicles, catapults, gearboxes, and marble contraptions, and create their very own K’Nex® racers.

Preschool and prekindergarten children will explore how astronauts move on the moon and why Earth is the only place for us. Children will also make Alien Slime, explore the craters of the moon, and make their own space shuttles.

    Art Expo

Children will learn about famous artists and the techniques and mediums used to create various works of art. They will also learn about the basics of composition, including line, color, texture, and pattern. Children will create a variety of art themselves, from drawing to sculptures to murals. This camp is sure to bring out the artist in every child.

    Kids’ Kitchen

Learning about food has never been so much fun! From spaghetti dinners to fruit salads, children will learn some basics about cooking, nutrition, and even entertaining, while having ample opportunities to sample the fruits of their cooking labor in this deliciously fun camp.

    Wild, Wild West

During this camp, children will learn about the Old West during the 1800s, when pioneers headed west through uncharted territories, encountering countless adventures and experiences along the way. Children will enjoy learning about this amazing time in history, when fortunes were made and lost, and legends were created. Activities include creating maps of trails west, singing traditional western songs, square dancing, and panning for gold. Tell children to hold on to their cowboy hats, because the wild ride is about to begin!
