Description:
Mid-Atlantic Summer Dance Intensive is a pre-professional program designed for dancers who wish to improve and polish their dance skills in a positive and inspiring environment. MASDI cultivates complete dancers by opening up the dancer to the newest approaches in dance education, and providing a multi-faceted curriculum. Dancers will be engaged and challenged while taking classes in Hip-Hop, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Theatre dance, Tap, Pilates, and Stretch. Mid-Atlantic faculty are dedicated to providing each dancer with an individualized and personal experience. Faculty include Derrick Evans (New York, NY), Cynthia Thompson (JMU Dance Department Faculty), Bonnie Slawson (Artistic Director Motion Mania Dance Theatre) and other special guests.
