A summer paradise nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California, Pali Overnight adventures offers a once-in-a-lifetime camp experience!
From television to film to Shakespeare, campers in the Acting Academy will be taught the basics of acting and encouraged to explore many different genres including classical drama, comedy, and action. During week one, you will work on scenes, monologues, improvisations, character analysis, and theatre games. You will gain confidence while performing in front of an audience and boost your self-esteem as you receive support from your fellow actors! You will also learn techniques taught to the pros, like script reading and auditioning, from the pros
themselves. If you have ever dreamed at making it on the silver screen, this is the specialty for you.
Week 2: Reach for your chance to become a star! Audition for and win a starring role in a movie made right here at Pali Studios, written and directed by campers in the Film Institute!
You will be get the chance to work in a true-to-life movie production, learning all there is to know about being on set. Practice your lines, shoot your scenes, and get some real experience under your belt. At the end of your two week session, prepare your award speech and head down the red carpet, because your film will be debuted at the Pali Film Festival attended by hundreds of parents, family,
fellow campers and friends, along with actual Hollywood agents, all eager to see your talent on the big screen.
